It was love at first sight when we found The Old Dairy in 2003—a ninety-acre property on the Landsborough-Maleny Road still functioning as a dairy. With cows in its paddocks, ramshackle barns, a single rustic farmhouse and a view through the valley, you could hardly see for wild grass. But oh, what a view!
Over the years, we have weeded, mowed, planted, and harvested – all while watching our own family grow. We’ve watched the sun rise over the ridge and sat by the fire as the sky turned all shades of pink, yellow and orange over the valley. We shared our home with friends and family and enjoyed our special occasions, but it wasn’t until we hosted a big family wedding onsite that we realised the pure joy and inspiration this special place could provide for other people’s love stories.
As we watched others celebrate their weddings and occasions in their unique style, we began renovating existing buildings and custom-building new structures to make our stunning property perfect for events. Every aspect of this old farm has been developed with love, superior craftsmanship, and often a bit of fun.

Having originally studied Wedding Planning in the UK years ago, it wasn’t until she helped with a catering company at The Old Dairy Maleny in 2019 that she found her dream venue to call home.
